As you know, we were sponsors of the DataWeek Hackathon last weekend. Two days full off crazy ideas, long hours of prototyping and coding and eating pizza. There were a lot of interesting projects that have been using partner’s APIs.
We have recently launched our Automation SDK and Visualization SDK so it was interesting to see how many of teams decide to do something on the top of our platform and how many of them will be able to create something that has interesting use case and value.
So, what happened during the weekend? Check out some of the most interesting Projects that used GoodData:
The result was great. The winning team created an app that collect feedback from meetings, do sentiment analysis and send all the data to the GoodData Platform to create several reports. These two reports are being embedded within the application so that you have Analytical capabilities available directly within the main UI.
We would like to really congratulate to the Great Meetings team members (Dan and Richard) who have taken home two iPad controlled Ar.Drones that we gave away as our sponsor prize. They came up with totally relevant use case and was able to automate all data processes on our Platform.
This team had absolutely great story and really great mobile app prototype. They used mobile phone to collect data about your movement and then analyze your carbon footprint. Everything again visualized in the GoodData Platform. See their screencast:
We would like to thank everybody who was part of the amazing weekend and we hope to see you on some other developer event in the future! Keep coding!
